Here are some pictures of The Stone Ring in concert. This will give you
only a wee idea of how grand it is to see a live performance. Come and
see for yourself and put some live pictures into your mind so that you can
savor the moment and become part of the dream.
The band in concert, taking a
pause while the audience expresses
gratitude and joy. The members
of the band are humbled.
Bill never holds back. He is driven
by a sense of purpose. He is
committed to giving you an
honest, heartfelt performance.
When Beth sings it almost seems
that time stops and stands in
reverence.
There is joy, there is pain, there is
love, loss, ecstasy and warmth.
Come and listen. Take a journey.
Linda can haunt the soul. She will
hold you, suspended in rapture.
The sound is ancient. It calls you
from a place you already know.
Charlie coaxes a simple
emotion from the
concertina to give Beth a
backdrop. When the band
plays, they are a single
unit with the single goal
of touching your heart.
There is something intimate that
comes from deep in the soul. It is
presented to the audience with love
and compassion. We trust that once
you feel it in your heart you will
share it with the world.
The Stone Ring does not perform because
it is a job they have to do. They do it
because they love to.
There is a passionate undertone
that becomes part of the music.
You can't actually hear it but you
can definitely feel it.
The Stone Ring is a serious band that takes
responsibility for its place as a representative of a
people and a culture that stretches back across the
misty fens into Europe before the Romans and right up
to the present day. They speak to anyone who stands
for the simple right to live a life in freedom. The
music they play can run the full spectrum from
raucous fun to compelling drama.
It is always played with respect because we know that
the ancient ones who placed the dolmen are listening.
