Robert Burns was the poet laureate of Scotland, a common man who wrote uncommon poetry. Every January Scots around the world gather to celebrate his birthday. A haggis dinner features largely in the celebration and this can be a little scary but we were lucky enough to be at the Luckenbooth Restaurant in Arena where Cliff and Yvonne, the owners, make everything delicious.
